From September 28 to October 1, 2023, the VI Pediatric Meeting ‘Caring for Children’ took place in Nessebar. The organizers were the ‘Knowledge Saves Lives’ Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics at MU – Sofia, and with the support of the Bulgarian Pediatric Association.
For the sixth consecutive year, the event attracted significant public interest, bringing together over 400 specialists from various fields of pediatrics and 60 lecturers with proven expertise in child healthcare. Prof. Ivan Litvinenko and Prof. Daniela Avdzhieva-Tzavella chaired the Scientific Committee of the VI Pediatric Meeting ‘Caring for Children.’
Therapy for the rare genetic disease bullous epidermolysis – dystrophic and junctional, was presented by Dr. Kosara Drenovska, Head of the Department of Autoimmune and Bullous Diseases at the University Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment ‘Alexandrovska.’ Dr. Drenovska provided scientific information about the disease and introduced Reimex Pharma’s products suitable for treatment to the wide audience.
