Reimex Pharma became a gold sponsor of one of the most important conferences focused on scientific discoveries and innovations in the field of clinical genetics.
The Third Scientific Conference on Genetics in Clinical Practice, organized on the initiative of the Knowledge Gives Life Foundation, was held in the period 25-28 May 2023 at the Belleville Hotel, Duni Resort.
On behalf of Reimex Pharma, the large-scale scientific event was attended by Yanko Popstoiliev – Manager of the company, Gergana Kostadinova – Commercial Director and Tsvetelina Velkova – Quality Manager.
As an official sponsor of the scientific conference, representatives of Reimex Pharma held bilateral talks with highly qualified and renowned specialists in the field of medicine, to whom they presented the company’s activities and its product portfolio.
For the third consecutive year, the specialized scientific forum has established itself as a space for scientific discussions with a focus on genetics and its application in the daily practice of various medical specialties.
The rich lecture programme included plenary papers, company symposia and scientific presentations by highly qualified specialists in various fields of medicine. The Scientific Committee was composed of the Chairmen – Professor Ivan Litvinenko and Professor Daniela Avdzhieva -Tzavella.
Some of the speakers were Dr. Teodora Paneva from the Children’s Hospital Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev and Dr. Antoaneta Georgieva from St. George University Hospital, who presented rare genetic diseases such as narcolepsy, atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (AHUS) and paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH). They presented to the audience some of the product range offered by Reimex Pharma.
The focus of the scientific sessions of the conference was the topic of genetics and in particular the new achievements, developments and the most innovative ideas and practices in the field of genetics and its application in clinical practice as part of the vision of modern healthcare.
